Mirka Hokkanen will go over the basics of how to start a newsletter and how to put one together using the affordable and easy interface from EmailOctopus.com. Mirka will share how she keeps her email marketing simple, sustainable, and effective without it getting in the way of the work she loves. Read more here.

NOTE: OAA Meeting Place. In Person meetings will be held at the beachKraft Gallery, 18200 Georgia Ave, Olney, MD, 20832. The Gallery is on the 2nd floor in a two story small mall called Hillcrest Center, about 2 city blocks north of Rte 108. There is an elevator to the 2nd floor hidden in the right corner of the main part of the building There are also stairs on either side of the building. Parking is available behind the building or in the Verizon lot next door to the Hillcrest Center. People also park in the lot of the large medical complex just north of the Hillcrest Center on the same side of the street.
