Sat, May 11, 2024 (May 18 rain date) Plein Aire and sales - 11:30 am to 7pm, at Long Oak Brewery, Rte 108, Olney, MD. with Common Ground of Paradise Stables in Mount Airy., a group that uses their horses to help people heal. Register online to show completed works in a tent. Bring materials and easels to do plein air. There will be a People’s Choice Award at 6pm. NOTE: OAA Has a New Meeting Place. In Person meetings will be held at The beachKraft Gallery, 18200 Georgia Ave, Olney, MD, 20832. The Gallery is on the 2nd floor in a two story small mall called Hillcrest Center, about 2 city blocks north of Rte 108. There is an elevator to the 2nd floor not far from The Olney Crab House. There are also stairs on either side of the building. Parking is available behind the building or in the Verizon lot next door to the Hillcrest Center.
