Mirka draws a good crowd at the May 11th OAA Member Meeting.
Mirka Hokkanen, artist and printmaker, spoke at our May 11th Member Meeting. She teaches courses in wood engraving which uses metal burins instead of the tools used for woodcutting. Most wood engravings are small using end pieces of wood or hard plastic surfaces.
